General Conditions

• The minimum age for renting is 21 years. There is no upper age limit at the moment.
• The drivers license should be at least one-year-old. International drivers license are only needed, when the national license is issued with non-latin characters.
• Credit card is needed with sufficient deposit for double of the estimate rental fee, the value of a full tank of fuel and the amount of the insurance deductible.
  The accepted card types are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club.
• The rental day is a continous 24 hours unit which begins with picking up the car. There is a one hour grace period in addition, but when returning later, another day will be charged.
• Fines and losses of car documents, tools, accessories as well as personal goods left in the car, are the customer’s expenses.
• In case the key gets stolen, the renter bears full financial responsibility for the costs of the replacement, as well as the replacement of the locks.
• When returning the car, it must be in the same, good condition and the tank should be filled up. The missing fuel will be charged to the customer.
• The customer is responsible for the new damages, observed by Budget staff, even if he/she can not be there at the check-in.
• In case the car gets stolen, the key and the car documents should be returned immediately, otherwise the insurance will not cover the loss anymore and the renter will be held responsible for all expenses, up to the full value of the car.
• Repairs must be made by experts. If the probable costs will be more than HUF 10 000, the permission of Budget is required. The charges will be paid by the owner (the bill must include the owner as messors), unless the damage was caused by careless and negligent handling.
• Complaints upon the invoice can be accepted within 14 days on receipt, after this deadline the invoice can not be modified.
